Salvation

Salvation

When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden; all their sins were passed along to all mankind and the penalty for sin is death. Romans 5:12 tells us - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

We were conceived in sin as we were born into sin;" we are all sinners and have to believe on salvation if we want to get out and away from sin; only our Lord Jesus Christ is able to do this for us: Acts 4:12 tells us - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. When sin entered mankind, God already had the plan of salvation for man so that man could be reinstated to God instead of spending eternity in the Lake of Fire. The spiritual deliverance which God immediately grants to those who accept His conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. The plan of salvation will allow us to have a personal relationship with Him that He wants. The Father has great thing in store to give us once we become His children.

Salvation also means that when we leave this life that we will be with the Lord for all eternality; as Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. and 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.
